Pearns Pharmacies are offering a flu vaccination service in store. No matter how healthy we are we can all still catch flu. However those over the age of 65, pregnant or underlying health conditions are more vulnerable to the virus
Am I eligible for a free flu vaccination?
You’re eligible for a FREE NHS flu vaccine if:
- You’re over 65
- You’re pregnant
- You have asthma or a lung condition
- You have chronic heart disease
- You have diabetes
- You have a chronic kidney or liver condition
- You’ve had a stroke
- You have an illness or are taking medicines that affect your immune system
The government will be extending the free NHS flu jab and we are aiming to extend to this age range later in the year when advised to do so.
Arranging your vaccination - COVID-19 Requirements
Before you attend for a vaccination, we need you to complete a pre-screening questionnaire to give to the pharmacist. You can download a copy of the form here.

How much is the flu vaccination?
If you are not eligible for an NHS vaccination you can still protect yourself. A private flu vaccine costs £16. Please discuss with our team to see if its right for you and follow our appointment booking process.
